A new type of communication

I have arrived!

And so have you.

welcome to my new blog.

This is where I will post my newest art projects, talk endlessly about the wonders of metaphysics, and, of course, communicate with the masses. And by masses, I mean those select few who are worthy of my blogattention.

This is a product of living in Estero. When I was in Miami, life was too filled with work, socializing, and countless nights of partying to bother myself with such niceties like "blogging." Like most other 12-16 year old girls, I once found myself wrapped up in the world of Livejournal, that is, until I accidentally started posting private things under the "public" option. My deepest thoughts were far too offensive to share with my humble-minded livejournal friends, and I actually lost a couple real friends in the process.

Now, I keep three journals. They are ALL moleskin journals and they come in small, medium, and large. The smallest of them is my day-to-day planner, complete with lists and (non)appointments. The middle is my private journal, which has been an ongoing thing I've had since I could write (2nd grade... impressive, right?). The third is my sketch book, which I use to plan out art projects and design themes.

Chase and I are officially going into business together. We've purchased the domain name www.fizjig.com, and that's going to be the working title for our design company.
FIZJIG - dream out loud
FizJig - dance with your eyes
FIZJIG - dance out loud
... obviously the tagline has yet to be developed, but the hardest part was agreeing on a name, so it's allll downhill from here.

I can't wait to move to NYC. The plan is for Chase to come down here to Estero mid-October to finish out website plans and get acquainted with the business plan, figure out finances, etc. Then in January I'll be heading up to NYC to look for apartments with Chase, whose lease doesn't end until June, but she's considering breaking it to move into the village. Hopefully we find reasonable accomodations in Greenwich Village, but that's completely up in the air. After we find an apartment (or at least an area that isn't too pricey), I'll be selling my green beetle and packing up all my shit. Since most of it is already packed from my move to Estero, that shouldnt be an issue. THEN NEW YORK HERE I COME.

Of course, this is just a plan. My recent trip to San Francisco has inspired me endlessly, and now I am completely set to move to a big city. The intention is there, now time for ACTION.
